Stir-Fried Kale with Abalone

Ingredients:

  • 70 gm baby abalone, canned
  • 200 gm kale
  • 10 gm ginger
  • ½ tsp chopped garlic

Seasoning:

  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Shaoxing wine
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • Dash of sesame oil
  • ¼ cup water

Thickening:

  • 1 tsp cornflour

Directions:

  1. Drain well abalone from can, rinse kale and cut into 2” long.
  2. Heat wok with water and stir in 2 tsp of oil, blanch kale and dish up.
  3. Heat wok with 1 tbsp of oil, stir fry chopped garlic and ginger slices till fragrant. Add in abalone and seasoning, stir well and pour in thickening. Pour over kale and serve.
